Delete your account

Open the menu and go to Settings → Edit profile. Scroll to the Danger zone and choose Delete account, then type delete to confirm.

Sign in at fishbug.app, open Edit profile, and use Delete account in the Danger zone.

If you no longer have access to the app or your login, email privacy@fishbug.app from the email address on your account and ask us to delete it. We'll verify the request and complete the deletion as soon as we can — within 30 days at the latest.

Deleting your account permanently removes:

• Your profile (username, bio, location, and avatar)
• Your fly patterns, along with their photos and videos
• Your comments, likes, and saves
• Your inventory and shopping list

We may retain limited records where the law requires it, or to prevent fraud and abuse — for example, basic logs and any moderation records tied to a reported violation. Anything retained is kept no longer than necessary and is no longer linked to your public profile. See our Privacy Policy for details.
