Easy and cheap to tie, fish it deep and don't worry when you lose it. This is my favorite hook and bead combo, a good half of my fish are probably caught with these.

Materials

  • FM5045
    Hook
  • Tungsten Slotted Beads
    Bead
  • UNI-Thread
    Thread
  • Awesome 'Possum
    Dubbing

Instructions

  1. Slide on the bead and start the thread and wrap back to where the barb would be.
  2. Apply dubbing to the thread and wrap up to the bead, try to keep an even taper.
  3. Put a bit of a collar behind the bead (probably went a little too hard with this one). Whip finish and apply head cement.
