Instructions
- Slide on conehead and add 15-20 wraps of lead wire, slide it forward into the cone.
- Tie in wire and wrap to the bend of the hook.
- Tie in the braid, wrap thread forward to cone, wrap braid forward and secure with thread.
- Snip the hair off a small spot on the zonker strip and secure it to the hook as close as you can get it behind the cone.
- Pull the strip back tight over the top of the hook, give a full wrap with the copper wire and then spiral wrap forward to the cone. Secure wire and cut off excess.
- Tie in another zonker strip the same way as the first, wrap around 1-3 times depending on preference for the collar. Stay as tight to the cone as possible.
- Whip finish.
