One of the easiest patterns to tie and extremely effective when fish are spawning and sometimes even when they aren't. The eggstasy material transforms when wet to produce a translucent slushy texture. #Easy #Egg #Beginner

Materials

Instructions

  1. Start your thread behind the eye with a few wraps back down the shank.
  2. Tie in the Eggstasy material. Lay the end of the material against the shank just behind the eye and secure it, wrapping the material about 1/2 to 3/4 of the way back the hook shank.
  3. Wrap the body. Wrap the material forward in close, touching turns toward the head. Don't overdo it, a few turns is plenty.
  4. Finish the head. Build a small head behind the eye, whip finish, and add a drop of head cement.
