Materials

Instructions

  1. Cut a strip of foam slightly smaller than the hook gap.
  2. Tie foam on roughly 2/3 back from hook eye to the bend. Wrap tightly.
  3. Form abdomen with wraps dubbing wraps.
  4. Pull foam over the dubbing ball and wrap tightly up to hook eye.
  5. Form thorax with dubbing wraps, should be smaller than abdomen.
  6. Wrap tightly in midsection and cut off foam as close as possible.
  7. Add sight post directly behind the abdomen by tying in yarn and wrapping horizontally around the bottom.
  8. Tie in legs in midsection.
  9. Whip finish in the mid section, I also add some Z-Ment or any other epoxy/head cement to keep the legs from moving around.
