1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Fishbug, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you do not have permission to access Fishbug.

2. Account Registration

2.1. You must register an account to use certain features of Fishbug.

2.2. You agree to: • Provide accurate account information • Maintain the security of your account • Promptly update any changes to your information • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

2.3. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. User Content

3.1. By posting content to Fishbug, you: • Grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, modify, display, and distribute your content • Retain ownership of your content • Represent that you have all necessary rights to share the content

3.2. You are solely responsible for content you post, including: • Fly patterns • Photos and videos • Comments • Material lists • Profile information

3.3. Prohibited Content: • Infringing material • Pornographic, adult, or sexually explicit content • Graphic violence or gore • Harmful or malicious content • Spam or unauthorized commercial content • Illegal content • Harassing or abusive content • Hate speech or discriminatory content • False or misleading information • Content promoting self-harm or suicide • Content exploiting or harming minors • Content promoting illegal drugs or substances • Content promoting terrorism or extremism • Unauthorized personal information of others

4. Intellectual Property

4.1. Fishbug and its original content (excluding user content) are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.

4.2. You may not: • Copy or modify Fishbug • Attempt to extract the source code • Translate Fishbug into other languages • Make derivative versions

5. User Conduct

5.1. You agree not to: • Violate any laws • Impersonate others • Circumvent security features • Interfere with Fishbug operations • Collect user data without consent • Use automated systems to access Fishbug • Attempt to access unauthorized areas

6. Content Sharing

6.1. Public Content: • May be viewed by any Fishbug user • May be shared within Fishbug • May appear in search results

6.2. Private Content: • Visible only to you • Not accessible through search • Not shareable within Fishbug

7. Privacy and Data Protection

7.1. Your use of Fishbug is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

7.2. You consent to the collection and use of information as detailed in our Privacy Policy.

8. Third-Party Services

8.1. Fishbug integrates with: • Supabase for data storage • Bunny.net for media hosting • Other third-party services

8.2. These services have their own terms and policies for which we are not responsible.

9. Disclaimers

9.1. Fishbug is provided "as is" without warranties.

9.2. We do not warrant that: • Fishbug will be error-free • Service will be uninterrupted • Bugs will be corrected • Fishbug is free of viruses

10. Limitation of Liability

10.1. We shall not be liable for: • Indirect damages • Lost profits • Data loss • Business interruption • Personal injury • Property damage

10.2. Maximum liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you, if any, for using Fishbug.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising from: • Your use of Fishbug • Your content • Your violation of these Terms • Your violation of others' rights

12. Modifications

12.1. We reserve the right to: • Modify these Terms • Change Fishbug functionality • Discontinue Fishbug • Change pricing (if applicable)

12.2. Changes will be effective upon posting to Fishbug.

13. Termination

13.1. We may terminate or suspend your account for violations of these Terms.

13.2. Upon termination: • Your right to use Fishbug ceases • We may delete your content • These Terms' relevant provisions survive

14. Governing Law

14.1. These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the United States of America.

14.2. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania, United States of America.

16. Severability

18. Copyright Policy (DMCA)

18.1. Fishbug respects intellectual property rights and expects users to do the same. We will respond to clear notices of copyright infringement in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).

18.2. Reporting Infringement If you believe content on Fishbug infringes your copyright, send a written notice to our designated agent containing: • Your physical or electronic signature • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed • Identification of the infringing material and information sufficient to locate it (e.g., URL or description of where it appears in Fishbug) • Your contact information (name, address, phone number, email) • A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law • A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf

18.3. Counter-Notification If you believe your content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notification containing: • Your physical or electronic signature • Identification of the removed content and its location before removal • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the content was removed by mistake or misidentification • Your name, address, phone number, and a statement consenting to jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania

18.4. Repeat Infringers We will terminate accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers.

19. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding Fishbug.

By using Fishbug, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
